"WHEELS OF FREEDOM MOTORCYCLE CLUB HONERS MARINE!"

FIRST BATTALION, 8TH MARINES

SGT KNOSPLER

Wounded Nov 12th 2004 Battle of Fallujah Iraq

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!

Jacob Knospler from East Stroudsburg Pa was wounded during the battle of Fallujah Iraq November 12th 2004. A few of the locals from the Wheels of Freedom motorcycle club found out and decided to throw Jacob a little party and to honor him for the sacrifice he made.

We all showed up at around 7Pm on the 19th of December. Jacob to say the least was surprised he thought he was moving a pool table. The last time Jacob celebrated Christmas was from a hospital bed at the Bethesda Naval hospital, Maryland. This was especially an occasion to be remembered, Jacob is a bike buff of sorts and enjoys wrenching on them and riding. He started riding a dirt bike when he was twelve. He can be spotted on the main page admiring a wreck.

The eat’s and drinks were provided by “Linda’s Hideaway” East Stroudsburg Pa and the “Wheels of Freedom” MC Stroudsburg Pa who also presented Jacob with some Christmas gifts. We then settled in for the usual BS sessions and war stories. We closed up shop early and headed to the house for a mild night cap!

We take this time again to thank all the people involved for their time spent to bring Jacob one step closer to being home. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
